Nicki Minaj-Serena Williams Feud: Is Drake's Relationship Making Meek Mill's Girlfriend 'Insecure'?

Nicki Minaj
Serena Williams thinks that Nicki Minaj is insecure and jealous if she is dissing her romance with Drake, a source told Hollywood Life. The news comes amid reports that Minaj wants the “Back to Back” rapper to know that “she can’t be replaced” in his life.
According to the source, Williams is not the kind of person who would end up getting embroiled in social media feuds. She reportedly wants Minaj to know that she is not into such “childish” games. However, the latest reports have given rise to speculation that a war between Minaj and Williams over Drake may soon be underway.
“She’s from Compton, Calif. Her battles are won on the streets or on the court,” the source told Hollywood Life. “Having said that, it seems as if Nicki is jealous of her or feels threatened. It’s obvious. Secure women don’t throw shade toward the next woman who’s dating the man they use to talk to. That’s childish.”
Drake, who was previously romantically linked with Minaj, sparked dating rumors with Williams after the two were photographed locking lips at a restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“He’s extremely nice and supportive and is a gentleman in every way. Big girls like Serena appreciate this type of man,” the source reportedly said. “Little girls like Nicki, well, they like timid men who can’t rap, who pick on innocent fans at their own concert and men who like to throw temper tantrums on Instagram. Grow up already, Nicki!”
Minaj reportedly feels that Drake and Williams relationship is “cute,” but also wanted the 33-year-old tennis player to know that Drake would not have been with her if the “Anaconda” rapper was not dating Meek Mill.
“Nicki’s not one to throw shade, but she sees Drake out there, flirting with Serena,” another source told Hollywood Life. “It’s about time a woman gave him a chance. But Serena should know that the only reason Drake’s with her is because he can’t have Nicki. Nicki’s just calling it like it is.”
Meanwhile, Williams’ fans have blamed Drake for her loss Friday in the U.S. Open semi-final against Italian opponent Roberta Vinci.
Drake was cheering for Williams at Flushing Meadows as his rumored girlfriend tried to become the first woman since Steffi Graf in 1988 to win all four grand slam titles in a calendar year.
“She (Serena Williams) doesn’t blame Drake but would have rather him not have shown up till the finals,” an insider told Hollywood Life.
