Thursday, the 34-year-old reality star posted proof of her preordained
relationship with the 38-year-old rapper in the form of a magazine
photo.

#MeantToBe,' Kim wrote along with an image from the April/May 2009 issue
of Complex Magazine.

'#MeantToBe': Kim Kardashian posted an
image from a 2009 magazine story on Thursday - she and husband Kanye
West shared that issue's cover
As
Kim pointed out, that issue had a double cover - the Keeping Up With
The Kardashians star got one side of it, while Kanye featured on the
other.
'Kim
Kardashian will do anything to save the planet: And we do mean
anything...' read the headline on the magazine's multi-coloured cover.
A small note in the lower-right-hand corner of that cover referenced the Kanye story inside.

Kanye's own cover, however, was a dramatic, mostly grey image that focused solely on the rapper's face.
'Beyond

the enthusiastic headline - written just a few months before the
rapper's infamous Taylor Swift incident at the MTV Video Music Awards
that summer.
Long time coming: Kanye and Kim would
not get together for a long time after that - Kim (above in 2011) would
first marry and divorce basketball player Kris Humphries
Two
years after she gained notoriety as the star of a leaked sex tape with
Ray J, Kim was in 2009 a rising star of the reality world - in addition
to Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim had competed on Dancing With The
Stars a short time before.
She
was not, however, in any sort of relationship with Kanye and was
instead head toward an ill-advised marriage to basketball player Kris
Humphries.
Kim
and Kanye actually began dating in 2012 - before her long-estranged
marriage to Kris officially ended in divorce - and welcomed baby North
in June 2013.

relationship has seemed solid ever since, and the couple is expecting a
second child - a boy they plan to name Easton - in December 2015.
