OUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Rapper Lil' Wayne is making his return to Louisville to promote his brand new mixtape.
The
four-time Grammy winner will perform and host a party at Diamond Pub
Concert Hall to celebrate the release of his "Sorry 4 the Wait 2"
mixtape.
Lil' Wayne recently made headlines after filing a $51
million lawsuit against Cash Money Records, his longtime record label.
He claims the label, headed by his friend Bryan "Birdman" Williams, has
not paid him advance money to release his "Carter V" album.
The lawsuit was recently dropped in New York but later re-filed in New Orleans.
Lil' Wayne will take the stage April 23 at 9 p.m.
Tickets range from $75 to $150.
His last appearance in Louisville was in 2012 to promote his Trukfit clothing line.
